Who Are You Calling Good? For That Matter, Who Are You Calling?

This Sunday, October 14, 2018, The 21th Sunday after Pentecost, at 9:30 a.m., Pastor John Mitchell, will bring a message entitled “Who Are You Calling ‘Good’? For That Matter, Who Are You Calling?” based on Mark 10:17-31. Joan Thomas will be our Worship Leader and Song Leader. Our pianist is Marilyn Watts. Our facility is handicapped accessible and seasonably air conditioned.

On Laity Sunday, October 21, 2018, our special guest speaker will be Mr. David Sooy of Gideons International. The Gideons is a lay organization that places Bibles in public venues.

On Sunday, November 11, 2018, Mission Teens will be participating in our worship service showing their gratitude for the supplies we collected for them.

We are participating in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry. Please bring in your filled shoebox on Sundays, up to and including November 18, when we will deliver them to the collection center. Please refer to the bulletin insert.

The Bible study time is Wednesday at 11 a.m. in room #3/4 on the lower level of the fellowship building with the study of the Epistle of 2 Peter.

The Stitch Club meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m. in Room #3/4 on the lower level. Anyone interested is welcome.

THERE IS A BOX FOR THE “HELP & HOPE” FOOD CLOSET LOCATED UNDER THE BULLETIN BOARD IN THE HOSPITALITY AREA. Canned goods and other non-perishables may be placed there.

THERE IS ALSO A SECOND BOX UNDER THE BULLETIN BOARD IN THE HOSPITALITY AREA, for contributions to the BLESSING BAGS which will be assembled by the Stitch Club. BLESSING BAGS are available on the table in the fellowship area, take one, give it to someone in need as God leads you, SHARE THE BLESSING!
