The Peace of Joy

This Sunday, December 16, 2018, The Third Sunday of Advent, at 9:30 a.m., Pastor Mitchell will bring the message “The Peace of Joy,” based on Philippians 4:4-7. Kathy Bennett will be our Worship Leader and Joan Thomas our song Leader. Margaret and Ronnie Vetter will be lighting the first, second and third candles of our Advent Wreath. Our pianist will be Aaron Benfer. Our facility is handicapped accessible and seasonably air conditioned.

Orders for poinsettias for Christmas are being taken by Marcella Camp or Darlene Solomon. They are $10 and must be ordered by 11/16/2018.

The Bible study time is Wednesday at 11 a.m. in room #3/4 on the lower level of the fellowship building with the study of the Epistle of 1 John, will resume on January 9, 2019.

The Stitch Club meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m. in Room #3/4 on the lower level. Anyone interested is welcome.

THERE IS A BOX FOR THE “HELP & HOPE” FOOD CLOSET LOCATED UNDER THE BULLETIN BOARD IN THE HOSPITALITY AREA. Canned goods and other non-perishables may be placed there.

THERE IS ALSO A SECOND BOX UNDER THE BULLETIN BOARD IN THE HOSPITALITY AREA, for contributions to the BLESSING BAGS which will be assembled by the Stitch Club. BLESSING BAGS are available on the table in the fellowship area, take one, give it to someone in need as God leads you, SHARE THE BLESSING!
