Put Your Heart in Another Place

This Sunday, August 11, 2019, 9th Sunday after Pentecost at 9:30 a.m.,Pastor Mitchell will bring the message “Put Your Heart in Another Place” based on Luke 12:32-40. Joan Thomas will be our Worship Leader and our song Leader. Our pianist will be Aaron Benfer. Special Music will be Aaron Benfer and Debbie Permito.

Our facility is handicapped accessible and seasonably air conditioned. Please join us following the service for a time of fellowship and refreshment.

Our Annual Church Conference is scheduled for Saturday morning, October 19, 2019, at 9 a.m. The location is 1stUMC in Millville along with 4 of the 5 other UMCs. The presiding elder for our conference will be Pastor Jin Oh of the Olivet UMC.

THERE IS A BOX FOR THE “HELP & HOPE” FOOD CLOSET LOCATED UNDER THE BULLETIN BOARD IN THE HOSPITALITY AREA. Canned goods and other non-perishables may be placed there. THERE IS ALSO A NEED FOR SOMEONE TO TRANSPORT THE FOOD ITEMS TO THE “Help and Hope” FOOD CENTER ON HOWARD STREET. THE CENTER IS OPEN TUESDAYS THROUGH THURSDAYS FROM 9 a.m. TO 12 NOON.

MOUNT PLEASANT CHURCH IS SEARCHING FOR A PIANIST FOR SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP AND A REHEARSAL TIME DURING THE WEEK. WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR A VOLUNTEER “TECHY” TO WORK WITH THE MEDIA EQUIPMENT.
