Are You the Light of the World?

This Sunday, October 20, 2019, 19th Sunday after Pentecost at 9:30 a.m., Guest Preacher, The Rev. John Robbins will bring the message “You Are the Light of the World” based on Matthew 5:13 - 16. Kathy Bennett will be our Worship Leader and Joan Thomas our song Leader. Nick Camerieri will be our pianist.

Our facility is handicapped accessible and seasonably air conditioned. Please join us following the service for a time of fellowship and refreshment.

The Bible study time, Wednesdays in room (#3/4) on the lower level at 11 a.m. The study of the Gospel of John. Join us. We are participating in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry. Please bring in your filled shoebox on Sundays, up to and including November 24, when we will deliver them to the collection center.

SPECIAL NOTE: Pastor Mitchell will not be preaching on the Sundays from now through November 24. The Rev. John Robbins, Retired Local Pastor, who served the Sharptown Church for 10 years and the Haleyville & Mauricetown Churches for 25 years, will be bringing the Sunday morning messages. Pastor Mitchell will be available for all other responsibilities.
