God's Eternal Plan

This Sunday, November 24, 2019, The Last Sunday after Pentecost Christ the King Sunday/Thanksgiving Sunday at 9:30 a.m., Guest Preacher, The Rev. John Robbins will bring the message “God’s Eternal Plan” based on Paul’s Letter to the Church at Ephesus, the 4 Chapter and Verses 11-13. Jane Chambers will be our Worship Leader and Joan Thomas our song Leader. Marilyn Watts will be our musician this week. Our facility is handicapped accessible and seasonably air conditioned.

The Bible study time, Wednesdays in room (#3/4) on the lower level at 11 a.m., is suspended from now until Wednesday, January 8, 2020. The study of the Gospel of John.

We are participating in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry. Please bring in your filled shoebox on Sundays, up to and including November 24, when we will deliver them to the collection center.

SHOEBOXES ARE DUE THIS SUNDAY.

SPECIAL NOTE: Pastor Mitchell will not be preaching on the Sundays from now through Novemeber 24. The Rev. John Robbins, Retired Local Pastor, who served the Sharptown Church for 10 years and the Haleyville & Mauricetown Churches for 25 years, will be bringing the Sunday morning messages. Pastor Mitchell will be availble for all other responsibilities.

The construction of the new front door and indoor ramp for access to the worship area will not be complete by November 27. Therefore, we are rescheduleing our Dedication/130th Anniversary/Thanksgiving Celebration to Sunday, Janaury 5, 2020, at 2:30 p.m. Please set this date aside and plan to be with us for the celebration. Details will follow at a later date.
