We are the One We've Been Waiting For

This Sunday, December 15, 2019, The Third Sunday of Advent at 9:30 a.m., Pastor Mitchell will bring the message “We Are the One We’ve Been Waiting For” based on Matthew 11:2-11. Bill and MaryAnn Moore will being lighting the candles of the Advent Wreath. Kathy Bennett will be our Worship Leader and Joan Thomas our song Leader. Marilyne Phillips will be our musician this week. Our facility is handicapped accessible and seasonably air conditioned.

The Bible study time, Wednesdays in room (#3/4) on the lower level at 11 a.m., is suspended from now until Wednesday, January 8, 2020. The study of the Gospel of John.

AN OPPORTUNITY FOR OUTREACH Please consider being a “Reading Buddy” at Mt, Pleasant School. Buddies are needed to listen to children read on Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. This would begin in late January. See Pastor John for details.

A REPORT FROM OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD. Marcella Camp and Kathy Bennett delivered 92 boxes to the collection center at West Park Church in Bridgeton. Thank you to everyone participating.
